FAQ

Answers to the questions we hear most about Support-Ukraine.ca: who we are, where the money goes, shipping, sizing and returns.

What is Support-Ukraine.ca?

Support-Ukraine.ca is a volunteer-run online shop started in 2022 by a group of Ukrainian-Canadians. We sell Ukraine support apparel, including embroidered Tryzub caps, Слава Україні (Slava Ukraini) t-shirts, sweatshirts, toques and kids' clothing, to raise money for humanitarian aid in Ukraine.

Where does the money go?

100% of our profits go to humanitarian aid for Ukraine. So far we've donated more than $14,000 to the Canada-Ukraine Foundation, and we publish every sale, expense and donation, with proof of each transfer, on our Transparency page.

Is anyone paid to run the shop?

No. Everyone working on the project volunteers their time, including design, operations, customer support and logistics.

Where are the products made?

Every item is printed or embroidered to order by our fulfillment partner, Printful, and shipped from the facility closest to you. Making items on demand means nothing sits in a warehouse and nothing goes to waste.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are usually made and shipped within 3–5 business days, plus delivery time. You'll get a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships. If you haven't received it within 7 business days of shipping, email us with your order number.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is free on orders over $75 in Canada and the US, and over $100 everywhere else. Below that, standard shipping in Canada starts at $9.90, and other rates are calculated at checkout. We ship worldwide.

When do I need to order for Christmas?

Order by December 11 for Christmas delivery in Canada and the US with standard shipping, or by December 15 with express shipping. Our Holiday Gifts collection has our most giftable pieces.

Can I return or exchange an item?

Because every item is made to order for a charitable cause, all sales are final. But if your item arrives damaged or defective, or doesn't fit, email us within 14 days of receiving it and we'll make it right.

How do your sizes fit?

Our adult t-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies are a unisex fit. See the t-shirt size guide and the sweatshirt and hoodie size guide for exact measurements. Caps and toques are one size, and we also carry baby, toddler and youth sizes.

What do the designs mean?

The Tryzub (trident) is Ukraine's national coat of arms. Слава Україні (Slava Ukraini) means "Glory to Ukraine," a national salute that became a worldwide symbol of Ukrainian resistance in 2022. Several of our t-shirts are designed by Ukrainian artists; see the Artist Collection.

Can I suggest a design?

Yes. Email your idea to info@support-ukraine.ca: a sketch, a phrase or a sentence describing it is enough. If we make it, we'll let you know when it's live. Several products started as customer requests. See Submit a design.

I'm an artist. Can I license my design to you?

We'd love that. We license designs from Ukrainian artists and pay a royalty on every item sold, credit you on the product page, and publish the royalties we pay on our Transparency page. The rest of the profit goes to humanitarian aid. Details on the Submit a design page, or email info@support-ukraine.ca.

How can I contact you?

Email us at info@support-ukraine.ca. A real person (one of our volunteers) will get back to you.
